Kickoff for the Save Our History Project

Open to All Ages and Talents! No Experience Necessary
– Local artists will lead a public paint party to adorn the protective plywood boards on the two shotgun houses with eclectic images.

– Development of a heritage site in Winston-Salem’s oldest African American neighborhood utilizing two architecturally significant historic properties to tell the story of local black history.

Contribute to Save Our History Project
– Learn how you can contribute to the building fund. There will be many ways that you can give to this project.

Volunteer to Save Our History
A team of volunteers are needed to help raise money, construction, cleaning, design, collecting oral histories, photographs, and more.
